While I was out and about today, I wandered over to a popular end cap. It was shiny and full and lots of people were heading over to it checking it out.

Now, since being on RealW8 and changing to a healthier lifestyle, I no longer eat anything from bag, box, package. But, call it temptation, call it curiosity, call it courage, I took a LOOK, a peek. I picked up the somewhat soft squishy package of spaghetti sauce, turned the package over to read the label. Look at what I saw?!

We've all heard about how great nuts can be for us, but when I grabbed for some pistachios, it made me wonder about them and how they differ from other nuts.
 I wondered, 
are they the nut with the most fat? 
The most vitamins? 
The most calories?
 I mean, they are green! That has to make them different already right?

I went searching around and discovered this.

    Yes. I said it. Pick your "No's"!

     Quirky little phrase that I am sure you'll remember. You'll be able to say it, giggle, and use it as a powerful tool to a new You!

    Wondering what "No's" have to do with anything?

     Well, what if I told you that your "No's" are the building blocks to anything you want to change about yourself and your 'habits'. They are your boundary limits and once you set them, you start to create yourself, your world around you, how you interact with that world, in essence Your Lifestyle.

Can anyone tell me about how this reduces your cellulite appearance and makes your skin look better? I have been noticing that, has anyone else?

    Chicken, an easy protein to prepare, it flavors well, most people love it, and best of all, it grills up great!

    We explored non traditional barbecue sauces to help reduce sodium in our diet.

    One of our small heathy lifestyle changes has been reducing sodium in our diet. We have been able to keep our sodium to less than 500mg daily to support my mom and her salt sensitivity. Once you eliminate most salt, you really never miss it!
    We now create our sauces for the grill by starting with some fruit, peaches, apricots, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, fruits that will cook down a little and sweeten as they heat.

    We normally add pineapple to the mix.

    Now, when you try this, you can add molasses, garlic, onion, and spices like tarragon, dill, oregano, basil, pepper whatever your preference.
    Just bring your ingredients to a simmer in a small pot. Let it reduce down a bit and take your sauce out to the grill.
    Then, what Grill Guy ( my husband) has started doing is: grill the chicken until it's just about done, then baste the grilling chicken with the sauce using a basting brush.

Health and Wellness Tip: Read Those Labels

We are very conscientious about food labels. We check for all kinds of ingredients that we are trying to avoid or eliminate from our food choices. We have been very very careful, especially when it comes to salt.
All products the same right? Guess what? NO NO NO
We were at a grocery store, knew we needed half-and-half, grabbed the only option they offer. A few days later, we happened to compare the labels of the outgoing container and the incoming container. Look what we found!!!

Lesson: Always check your labels! Sometimes, you'll find really large differences in several categories. Pick what's best for you!
